A unique opportunity to try PI in south east Wales!
Have you ever wondered if you sit in balance? Pondered if it was something you were doing that made it so difficult for your horse to do a square halt? Or questioned whether you hold the reins too tight, too loose or it is your hands that cause your horse to lean more heavily on his bit on one side?
If the answer is yes to anyone of the above, or even if you just want to reconfirm how totally perfect you are, then come along to the Posture Assessment Clinic on Saturday the 1st and Sunday the 2nd of December and have a ride on PI – the amazing electronic saddle horse.
Sensors under PI’s “feet” detect if you are sitting in balance whist carefully positioned cameras capture your posture. You may well be surprised by just how far back (or forward) you are sitting. Take the time to learn what a neutral seat feels like, so that you can use weight aids to the maximum advantage.
Sensors on the reins analyse your contact and whether it is equal with both hands. Check out your half halts, do you release fast enough, and can you release the half halt without throwing the contact away?
See if you can ride a straight line on your seat alone or if you subconsciously hang on to one rein. Then if time permits, try your hand at circles and voltes!
In addition to the 45 minute assessment and instruction session you will also receive a detailed report of your session along with an informative e-book on the Seat & Contact.
Sessions are 45 minutes long and cost £50 per person.
Booking is essential.
